Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. Jasper County Criminal History does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When someone emails us, the message may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Standard technical details can be recorded by the server whenever a visitor opens a page. Those details may include:

- The device’s assigned Internet Protocol address

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Jasper County Criminal History does not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It explains how to reach official sources, including Jasper County courts and law enforcement, the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS Central Repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Public access to government records may be governed by the Missouri Sunshine Law, including the arrest-report boundaries in section 610.100 RSMo, but that law does not turn this private website’s visitor data into a county record. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes that appear on the website. A partner’s own privacy policy controls information entered into its tool, along with that provider’s retention and disclosure choices. We do not direct those practices. Review the applicable partner policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Jasper County offices, Missouri court and agency systems, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination’s policy governs that visit. Read its terms before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may also use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs through their systems rather than ours.
